Slightly better than good condition. Large format. Deep blue cloth with gilt titles and decorations. 12 tipped-in, captioned plates on grey mounts plus small b/w illustrations.
Rear cover is very damp stained but pastedwon is unmarked. Bumping and wear to corners and cover edges. Nasty dent to bottom edge of rear cover. Small piece of cloth on front spine missing. Darkening to spine and parts of front cover, some light spots to cover also. All plates are present but 7 have corner creases. Crease to front endpaper. Some browning, fingering and a few fox spots but generally clean.
