Welcome to the July 2022 newsletter from Stella and Rose's Books. The aim of our newsletter is to keep you informed of new information, articles and books available on our website.
As always, we hope this newsletter finds you and your families safe and well.
As we write this, Britain (and much of Europe) is roasting in a heatwave! If it's too hot to be outside, can we suggest settling down with a good book in the shade?
Since reopening to the public, the shop continues to be be busy - especially on the weekends. Your emails of books for sale are also keeping us busy!
We've had a bit of illness and injury here. A couple of staff caught Covid - and then another badly sprained their ankle. But we're all (just about) fit and well again now thankfully. With not much other news, we'll keep this short and just say we hope you enjoy the newsletter!
Birds of Prey, also known as Raptors, are a group of birds that includes hawks, owls, eagles, vultures, falcons and more.

Raptors play an important ecological role in the natural habitat by keeping the prey populations under control.
There are over 560 species of raptors worldwide and are found on every continent except Antarctica.
