Almost very good condition. The first in the Milne Pooh quartet in which we meet Winnie-The-Pooh for the first time in the Teddy Bear, poem 'A bear, however hard he tries, Grows tubby without exercise...' Delightful rhymes and illustrations. Blue cloth with gilt title to spine and vignettes to front cover. Cream pictorial endpapers. B/w text illustrations. Top edge gilt.
Spine and corners bumped and worn, small dents to lower edges of covers. Endpapers lightly browned. Some hinges cracked. Light fingermarks to page margins and one page (18) has a small ink stain to lower margin.
