Almost very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. A man, after being knocked out, wakes up as his horse. A fascinating tale which will at once appeal to lovers of Northern Rural England - the life of its people and animals and Lakeland Lanes. The veil of the occult running through the tale will grip, as also will the adventures of the main character depicted in Civil and Army Life. Orange cloth covers with dark titles to spine and front cover. B/w illustrations. 83 pages.
SIGNED by author, with date, on front endpaper. A little bumping and wear to spine, corners and cover edges. A few white marks to covers. Light browning and foxing to endpapers, rest of contents very good. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and chipped with some stains to panels.
