Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Light grey cloth, blue titles and vignette of girl to spine. Four b/w plates. 255 pages.

Spine is browned. Award plate to front pastedown. Foxing to outer page edges. Wrapper is edge-creased and chipped, with some grubby marks, but virtually no loss.

  • Molly and Meg are living with Molly's father in Switzerland, where with a collaborator he is engaged in scientific research, while the girls attend a local school. But something happens; a card containing a valuable formula disappears from the laboratory one day when the girls have been there, and its disappearance leads to a serious disagreement between the scientists, and a general upset.
