Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. Grey boards, red title to spine, top edge red. 4 b/w illustrations. 160 pages.
Spine and corners bumped. Joints just starting to crack. One page (13) has a couple of small yellow marks else contents are clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with slight loss to top of spine.

- It was purely by chance that the stray homing pigeon chose an attic windowsill at Linbury Court School as a temporary roosting place - an unfortunate choice, as it happens as the attics were out of bounds for boys.
- But that was only the start of the trouble, for with Jennings in charge as chief Isecret) pigeon-fancier the security arrangements for tending the bird's welfare became complicated to the point of chaos. Indeed, a diversity of people ranging from the local newspaper reporter to an inspector of woodworm became unwittingly involved in some aspect of the development before the pigeon was finally restored to its owner.
