Spine, corners and board edges bumped. Spine a little browned. Small dent in middle of spine. Tiny tear in cloth at bottom of spine. Address label at bottom of front pastedown. Endpapers browned. Foxing to prelims and page edges.

  • The trouble with Jennings is that he has his own extraordinary way of doing things. Given an Ideal Printing Outfit for his birthday, he hits on a Great Idea - a newspaper called the Third Form Times. And what could be hotter news than a photo of a French fishing boat in the local harbour taken with Jennings' new camera? But Darbishire's French isn't up to much - nor is the fisherman's English. Result: the boys are given a large parcel of fresh fish which they smuggle back to school and which in a moment of desperation Jennings shoves up the irascible Mr. Wilkin's chimney.
