Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Jennings receives a printing set! Colour frontis. Red boards. Top edge red. 256 pages.

Spine bumped and faded at top edge. Some browning and foxing to contents, endpapers, prelims and last few pages worst affected. Margin tear to page 191. Dustwrapper is edge worn with a few small tears and chips, slight loss from top of spine. Also foxed.

  • The trouble with Jennings is that he has his own extraordinary way of doing things. Given an Ideal Printing Outfit for his birthday, he hits on a Great Idea - a newspaper called the Third Form Times. And what could be hotter news than a photo of a French fishing boat in the local harbour taken with Jennings' new camera? But Darbishire's French isn't up to much - nor is the fisherman's English. Result: the boys are given a large parcel of fresh fish which they smuggle back to school and which in a moment of desperation Jennings shoves up the irascible Mr. Wilkin's chimney.
