  • No-one can deny that Jennings has a flair for doing the right thing at the wrong time and vice versa. Who else but Jennings could have weathered the storms caused by his well-meaning efforts to restore the contents of the lost property cupboard to its rightful owners? Who else in all innocence could have encouraged the inhabitants of Linbury village to invade the school in their search for jumble sale bargains? Whether planning to enliven the tedium of the school concert with novel items of entertainment or organising secret expeditions to the dry-cleaners it is Jennings, of course whose misadventures rock Linbury Court School to is foundations.
