Almost very good condition. The story of a wild goose, taking the reader from snow-sheeted mountains and ice-bound seas to secret little lochs where wild birds find sanctuary. Illustrated by beautiful woodcuts which seem to have a life of their own. Blue covers, cream spine with gilt titles. 258 pages.
Bumping to spine and corners. Spine is browned and gilt a little dulled. Blue cloth a little marked. Inscription and name to front endpaper. Browning to endpapers. Brown mark to inner margin and some text of several pages. Text is still legible. A few foxspots to page edges.
