Small format book with cream Italian leather and silver titles. 56 numbered pages, all edges gilt. With explanatory leaflet giving a brief biography of Beatrix Potter and the history of the publication of The Tailor of Gloucester. Contained in a burgundy hinged box with silver title and triangular onlay to front. Also includes a burgundy leather foil-blocked bookmark and 6 individual prints.
This is copy no. 59. Presentation box is further protected by a white card slip band. Contained in original brown packaging box (with limitation details label to front) and 'leather' written in blue biro to front. This copy would make a wonderful gift.
