Good condition. Red cloth, gilt title to spine, large pictorial onlay to front. 6 colour plates. 280 pages plus booklist to rear.
Spine and corners bumped and worn. Small splits in cloth to top and bottom of spine. Cloth also split on rear edge. A little rubbing to pictorial onlay. Gilt on spine very faded and spine is browned. Rear cover grubby. Front joint badly cracked showing webbing beneath. Some hinges cracked. Two plates taped in. Tape is browned and plates are wrinkled. 2 plates are loose. Frontis has been taped back in wrong place. Ticks to contents list. Some foxing and margin marks. Edge if rear pastedown missing. A reading copy.
