Published by Colin Smythe. 1st. 1969
Slightly better than very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. The history and background of Rolf Hochhuth's use of poetic licence whilst simultaneously staking claims to irrefutable historical truth based on documents tucked away in a Swiss Bank vault for the next 50 years. Hochhuth proceeded to blacken the name of Winston Churchill with an allegation that he ordered of acquiesced in the political murder of his friend and ally, General Wladislaw Sikorski of Poland. Black boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos.ix and 461 pages.
Light browning to text block. White dustwrapper is lightly edge-worn, small chip to top edge of rear panel and slightly scuffed.
