Almost very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. Pictorial boards with blue cloth spine. Illustrated endpapers. Full page colour pictures throughout. B/w text illustrations. Unpaginated. 8.75 x 6.25".
Spine bumped at top and bottom and browned in places. Corners bumped and rubbed. Bottom of boards a little bumped. Board edges rubbed. Small piece of surface paper damage to top of front board. Light foxing and some grubby marks to board edges. School ink stamp and prize inscription to verso of front endpaper plus small inkspot. Foxing to endpapers and page edges. Dustwrapper is edge worn with several tears plus loss to top, bottom and middle of spine and top and bottom of rear panel. Some creasing to panels. Front flap is partially detached. Wrapper is foxed.
