Slightly better than good condition in a good dustwrapper. Augusta and Christina relate the triumphs and disasters of the training of Clown, a young and badly broken pony. Red boards with black titles to spine. B/w illustrations. 253 pages.

Spine and corners bumped. Bottom of spine and boards marked (possibly damp) and rubbed. Name and date in ink to top of front endpaper. Endpapers browned and slightly marked. Residue from booksellers label to bottom of rear endpaper. Foxing mostly to page edges. Dustwrapper is edge worn with a couple of tear and slight loss to either side of the bottom of the spine. Rear panel is grubby. Damp marks visible to verso of spine. Bookseller's label stuck to rear flap.
