Fair condition. A Narrative of Mountain Travel and Exploration. Modern binding. Leather spine & corners, raised bands and gilt title to spine. Green cloth boards. B/w illustrations plus one panorama and three maps.

New endpapers. A little damp-staining to some page corners. Geological map is missing and the plate of Kabu and Kanchenjunga from Pamionchi also missing. Panorama slightly creased but intact. A few ink stamps from "the shillong club". Map at end of volume is torn and repaired. 2 plates partially detached and a small tear the to the margin of one plate. Some pencil annotation present.
