  • Theodora had had to leave three schools in succession before she was 15. She would think of the maddest things to do and do them! Her mother despaired of her but thankfully a cousin of her mother suggested Theodora attend the Chalet School. There she was given a new name - Ted so that she might make a new beginning.
  • The newly named Ted found herself kept so busy that she had no time to think up pranks. Len Maynard, the eldest of Jo's triplets took a hand and things began to go well.
  • Unfortunately Ted's troubles were not yet ended as Margot, the youngest of the triplets was jealous of her sisters' friends and did her wicked best to break up the friendship. Thanks in the main to the Head Girl, Mary-Lou Trelawney the problem was solved.
