Almost very good condition. Light brown cloth with dark brown and gilt titles and decoration, large format approx. 11.25 x 8.75". 20 tissue-guarded colour plates mounted on grey card, reminiscent of Charles Robinson. 267 pages.
A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. Spine browned and foxed. Covers slightly grubby with some faint uneven fading. Small scratch to front cover towards bottom corner and another to vignette which has caused tiny hole to cloth. Name and date in ink to front endpaper. Browning to endpapers, mostly to free endpapers. Some foxing, mainly to page edges. Browning to edges of card mounts. All plates present, 2 have small corner creases.
