Cream boards, blue title to spine. Colour frontis plate. 255 pages. Base of spine bumped. Light crease to lower corner of rear cover. Broken lines of tape residue to top and bottom of covers. Endpapers grubby with erased writing to top corner of front endpaper. Top edge of text block darkened. Text pages very good. Dustwrapper is edge worn with a couple of tears. Clear tape stuck to verso along top and bottom edges, visible on front. Price label to front flap.

Large format. Cloth spine. Front board shows 3 girls in a sail-boat. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations throughout. First story is "The Girls of Rocklands School" by Oxenham, also contains "A Treasure From The Snow" by same author. Spine bumped and slightly faded with a small rust stain to top front edge. Corners worn. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper has been partially erased. Some hinges cracked causing contents to be a little loose. Light foxing throughout and a couple of fingermarks.

Pages 145/146 and 156/160 partially detached. Prize plate, small bookseller's label and ink name stamp to front endpapers. Pencil ticks to titles in publication list at back of book. Contents generally clean. A little foxing and browning, mainly to endpapers. Plates present.

Blue cloth with gilt titles and colour illustrations to front and spine. 352 pages plus 16 page booklist to rear. 6 colour plates. Spine bumped, worn and a little darkened. Bumping and wear to corners especially top corner of front cover. Rubbing to pictures on front and spine. Covers slightly grubby. A couple of hinges cracked but binding is firm. Presentation inscription to verso of front endpaper. Damage to bottom corner of rear endpaper. Some foxing and an odd mark to contents. All plates present.

Joints and a few hinges cracked. Ink inscription to front pastedown. Small bookseller's stamp to front endpaper. Some foxing to contents but generally clean otherwise. 1 plate is MISSING.
