Good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. Twenty-four stories of varying length aimed at 4-7 year olds. Cream cloth with red titles and vignette. B/w illustrations.
Ex-library with black label to spine and several ink stamps to contents. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Browned tape and some tape marks to covers. Both joints cracked showing webbing beneath. Rear endpaper missing. Tape marks to endpapers and last page of text. Label to front pastedown. Pencil writing to front endpaper which has been crossed out with orange crayon. Orange writing to front endpaper and orange crayon marks to margin of last page of text. Some foxing and marks to margins of contents. Dustwrapper is edge worn and creased. Library label to bottom of spine. Tape has been removed from spine causing some surface paper damage. A reading copy.
