Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Twenty-two tales to enchant young readers. Cream cloth, red titles and vignette to front. Two-tone illustrations.

Some darkening to top and tail of spine. Corners are bumped. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. Foxing to outer page edges. Wrapper has a few large closed tears. Other smaller tears and chips; a little loss to corners and top and tail of spine.

  • When Rubbalong the cobbler and his remarkable Ma come to settle in Tiptop Village, everyone quickly finds out that it does not pay to offend them or to do anything to harm the good people of the neighbour. Ma knows some useful spells and even without their aid Rubbalong's methods can be extremely effective especially for unpleasant character such as Grabbit and his sister Mrs. Well-I-Never.
