Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Favourite Children's Stories from Times Past and Present. More than forty of the world's most celebrated tales by thirty-four famous authors lavishly illustrated by twenty-two leading artists of the day. Pale blue boards with dark blue titles to spine. 9 colour plates plus b/w illustrations. 256 pages.
A little bumping to spine and corners. Boards mottled. Fading to lower edges of covers. Ink inscription to front endpaper. Contents clean just very lightly browned. Foxing to text block. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn and creased with tears to either end of spine and fold. Label partially removed from top corner of front panel causing surface paper damage.
