Good condition. A story of three children and a toy newspaper. Attractive green pictorial cloth, showing Golly sitting at a window. Black title block to spine. 8 b/w plates.
Spine and corners are a bit bumped and worn, with damp mark to a couple. Marks to covers. Joints are cracked. Bookplate to front endpaper. Corner torn off frontis. A small margin piece missing from another plate internally. Most plates have 1-2 margin tears to them, with grubby finger marks. One page of 'Golly News' is detached, but still present. A reading copy.
