Slightly better than good condition. Two volumes in one book. Pale green cloth with tan titles and decorative vignette to front cover, gilt title block with black titles and decoration to spine. B/w plates and text illustrations. 158 pages for each volume.
Spine bumped, worn and browned with two small splits to top edge. A little bumping and wear to corners. Covers grubby, small dark mark to front cover. Front joint badly cracked between title page and frontis, webbing showing. Hinges cracked causing binding to feel a little loose. Browning to endpapers and page edges. Foxing, mainly to endpapers.
