Very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. Red boards, black titles to spine and front cover. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations. 222 pages.

Spine and corners bumped. Foxing to endpapers and top of prelims. Tear and fold to bottom corner of one page which wasn't cut correctly in binding process. Couple of marks to text block edge otherwise contents very good. Dustwrapper is edge worn with some tears. Spine is faded and slightly rubbed. Some foxing to flaps. Rear panel is grubby.

Bunter is not the most energetic of pupils and his armchair came in for more than its fair share of service. So when it gave up the struggle it was essential that a new chair be found. Fortunately a bargain was at hand as the furniture in the cottage room once occupied by Freddy Dexter, the local Teddy Boy, before he went to jail was for sale. But when Dexter came out he showed a surprising amount of interest in the old chair and the Famous Five began to wonder why.
