Almost very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. Light blue boards with dark blue titles. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations. 236 pages plus booklist.

Spine lightly browned with dark brown patch to top, also foxed and bumped. Light browning to cover edges. Foxing, mainly to page edges and prelims. Contents generally clean. Book has slight smoke smell. Dustwrapper has loss, mostly from top and bottom of spine and top of front fold. A few small chips and tears, some repaired with clear tape on verso. Spine and folds browned, slightly grubby.

  • Although Bunter was not noted for his cycling prowess, it was a fact that he needed a new bicycle as his old one had not been repaired by any other Removite, though he had mentioned the matter more than once. There was the difficulty of finding the purchase money but eventually Bunter evolved the scheme of ordering the boke and sending the bill to his father. Unfortunately his father did not approve and the bill rebounded. Bunter then frantically tried to find a way of paying Parker's cycles. This included entering for the Latin prize and following the sport of kings.
