Historical and descriptive sketches of the abbeys of Watton and Meaux, the convent of Haltemprise, the villages of Cottingham, Leckonfield, Bishop and Cherry Burton, Walkington, Risby, Scorburgh, and the hamlets comprised within the liberties of Beverley. Numerous engravings on copper, wood, and stone. List of subscribers.
New endpapers, and half-title page is MISSING. Pages 115-118 detached. Spine and corners bumped and scuffed. Small indentation and split to middle of spine (near base). Foxing and dampstains throughout. Last page is torn with loss and has been repaired and reinserted in the past.
