Very good condition in a poor dustwrapper. Popular Edition. Red cloth spine with blue title, brown paper boards. B/w illustrations.

Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Cover edges worn. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to contents else clean. Dustwrapper is in two pieces with tears and loss at edges and substantial loss to spine.

  • Moorland Mousie, who has made thousands of reader friends, has been growing older and has had many exciting adventures - more than come the way of most ponies.
  • He falls into the hands of Jake, a gipsy boy, whom all animals instinctively trust. He stays with the caravan people, where he learns about circus life from Midget, a performing pony. A tinker becomes Mousie's owner, but eventually he returns to his own home where he gets the warmest of welcomes.
