Almost very good condition. Tales For Children From Many Lands series. Translated by Mrs. Edgar Lucas. Blue cloth, elaborate gilt tiltes and decoration to spine and front cover, pictorial onlay to front cover. 8 colour plates plus b/w chapter headers. 127 pages.
Gilt title & vignette to spine are faded.Rear board is scuffed with a few tiny dints. 1.5cm x 6cm cut out from top edge of free front endpaper. Hinges pulled. A few grubby marks to margins. 'The Wild Swans' plate has a hole to the margin with finger creasing.
