Slightly better than good condition. 6 stories translated by Mrs. H.B. Paull. Cream pictorial boards with some gilt decorations. Green cloth spine. Beautiful chromolithograph and tinted illustrations. Oblong format.
Spine and corners bumped and worn. Board edges rubbed. Some scratches to covers which are a bit grubby. Both joints badly cracked showing webbing beneath. Binding a little loose. Front endpaper is MISSING. Ex Libris label to front pastedown. Inscription in ink to top of 1st page. Rear endpaper is creased with a couple of small tears. Page edges are browned. Some foxing and fingering to page margins. Colour has transferred a little to opposite page from a few illustrations. Last page of text is speckled with tiny brown dots - possibly a printing error.
