Almost very good condition. Light grey cloth spine with title in dark grey, grey title and peacock vignette to front cover with gilt circle. Grey pictorial endpapers. 167 pages. 8 wonderful colour plates plus b/w text illustrations and vignettes throughout. Top edge is gilt, others are untrimmed.
Spine bumped and rubbed and slightly grubby. Covers are grubby and worn to corners with small worn patch to edge of rear cover. Front cover lightly foxed. Small ink mark to verso of frontis. Foxing to margins of plates and some light fingermarks to contents. A nice copy of a scarce book.
