Good condition. Large format. Blue cloth spine with yellow title. Decorated boards with white pictorial title label to front cover. Pictorial endpapers. 16 exquisite mounted colour plates plus 15 b/w plates, all showing pictures of fairies.

Spine is split, nearly all the way down the front side of spine, with some fraying of cloth. Browning to spine. Heavy wear along cover edges, with some chipping. Scuffing to covers. Plates are all present. Coloured ones - some corner creasing. B/w has some torn margins and grubby finger marks. Foxing to endpapers, outer page edges and some page margins.
