Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. David, a small cripple boy, is given a wonderful magical brooch and has many amusing adventures. Red cloth, black titles. 219 pages. Colour frontis, b/w text illustrations.

Spine and corners bumped. Some fading to cover edges. Name and address in ink to front pastedown, inscription in ink to endpaper. There is a small mark to the textblock and very pale page browning else contents clean. Dustwrapper is worn at edges with minimal loss to corners and slightly grubby to rear panel/spine.
