Very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. Tom Fenn and his young son Hector, pursuing the rogue Crooks who has stolen a valuable plan, fall into the hands of savage aborigines, and escape death only by taking a desperate chance. Yellow cloth covers with dark green titles. 4 b/w plates. 256 pages.
Spine bumped. Discolouration to bottom corner of front cover, matches stain on dustwrapper. Ink inscription to front endpaper. Scratch to top edge of text block. Rest of contents clean. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn and torn. Large tear to rear panel has been poorly repaired on verso with white labels. Stain to rear panel and yellow stains to verso.
