A few marks to rear cover. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to endpapers, outer page edges and some page margins. All plates present.

Binding is a little weak; a few hinges are pulled; some chips and tears where plates are bound in. A few plates have margin tears and grubby margin marks. A reading copy.

Wrapper has front flap MISSING, with creasing, tears and chips; loss to top and tail of spine and corners. Wrapper is also grubby.

A little wear to spine and corners. Belongs to box completed in pen. A few foxspots. All plates present, light browning to their margins. Dustwrapper is edge worn, chip to top edge of front panel and 1.5" hole to front fold. Also browned and grubby.
