The White-tailed Sea Eagle is a magnificent and pwerful bird of prey which until early last century was not uncommon in the British Isles, especially on the Scottish coast. This book is about a concerted attempt to reintroduce the bird to its former haunts by a programme of controlled releases on the Isle of Rum where the author lives. Green/blue cloth boards, silver title to spine. B/w illustrations and photos.
Spine faded. Large bookplate to front pastedown. Blue dustwrapper is lightly browned at spine and top margins.
