Fair condition. Red leather spine, gilt title. Brown boards. Fold out colour maps throughout.
24 hand-coloured maps, most double page, several fold-out and 40 pages of text. Grey boards with red leather spine and gilt title. The introduction describes the solar system followed by interesting descriptions of each of the mapped regions and countries. All maps are present and in good condition although lightly browned. The boards are worn with chipping at edges and discolouration at lower corners. Spine is worn with small splits at top and tail. Contemporary inscriptions in ink to front endpaper. Some foxing to contents but overall a solid copy of this early atlas.
