Very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. A simple rhyming text not only provides an introduction to the alphabet but also a story book for young children and a picture book to enchant readers of all ages. Red boards, gilt title to spine. Colour illustrations.
Top edge of rear cover has nicks and surface paper damage, also slightly on top edge of front cover. Top of spine bumped. Labels, initials and date to top corner of front endpaper. A few fox spots to endpapers. Contents clean but have slight musty smell. Dustwrapper is torn and creased along top edge of rear panel and front flap, also foxed.
