Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. Culled by De Vries from the Osborne Collection of Early Children's Books. An agreeable Garland of Prose & Poetry for the Instruction and Amusement of little Masters and Misses and their distinguished Parents. Large format. Brown decorated boards with gilt title to spine. Embellished with some 750 elegant woodcuts and Engravings of which upwards of 125 are coloured. 232 pages.

Top 2.25" of front endpaper cut out and removed. Name & date in ink to front endpaper. Otherwise, contents fine. Pictorial wrapper edge-rubbed, small closed tear to rear repaired to verso with clear tape. Rear of wrapper a little grubby.
