Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. The dramatic story of Robin, crippled son of a knight, who proves his courage and wins his king's recognition - set against a background of fourteenth-century England. Blue boards, yellow title to spine. Colour plates and b/w illustrations. Awarded the Newbery medal for a distinguished contribution to literature for children.
Corners and spine are bumped. A few small marks to covers. Light foxing to endpapers. Inscription in ink to half-title page. Wrapper is price-cut with small tears/chips, and a little loss to top of spine and a couple of corners. Some green scribble marks to front panel.
