Slightly better than very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. Marie Hartley collaborated with the late Ella Pontefract in writing and illustrating topographical books on the Yorkshire dales and the county at large. This book is a personal record of their adventures. Green cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos and illustrations, also some two-tone illustrations.
Gilt title to spine fading. Text block lightly browned. Faint musty odour present. Blue pictorial dustwrapper is lightly edge-worn and torn, browned at spine and rear panel.
