Very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. The second book about the adventures of the Conway children takes place in Ireland, at the Conway's home Sheen Hall, during their summer holiday. Blue boards, black title to spine. 11 full page b/w illustrations. 111 pages.

Spine bumped and slightly faded. Name and date in pen to front endpaper. Light browning to endpapers. Light foxing to text block, endpapers and prelims. Pale stain to bottom corner of text block. Dustwrapper is edge worn, chipping and tear to bottom of browned spine. Small spots of surface paper damage, mostly to front panel, small hole to spine. Two cup rings to rear panel. Browned on verso.
