Almost very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. Which of the brown carthorse mares was really Corker, is the mystery that runs through this story of a caravan journeying to the sea. Green cloth, red titles to spine, vignette to front. B/w illustrations. 7.75 x 5". 192 pages.

Spine bumped, faded, foxed and browned at ends. Fading to some cover edges. Ink inscription to front pastedown. Light foxing to text block. Contents very good. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and creased with some loss. Tape repairs to some tears on verso. Also a little grubby.
