Good condition. Fairy Tales of the Allied Nations. Large format. Dark yellow decorated cloth, vignettes of horses against blue background to front cover. Blue and cream decorated endpapers. 14 tales. 15 glorious tipped-in colour plates. Dulac at his finest.
Spine bumped, worn and browned, some loss of cloth from ends. Lower half looks like it's been glued into place. Bumping and wear to corners and cover edges. Scratches to rear cover causing damage to cloth. Covers a little grubby. One hinge near back of book badly cracked but binding is firm. Ink inscription to verso of frontis. Corner missing from bottom of contents page. Some foxing and marks to contents. All plates present, one has tipped-in corner torn off and a small corner crease, another has a corner crease. Although there are marks to the pages on which the plates are mounted the rest of the plates are in fine condition.
