Very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. A volume of b/w drawings illustrating the remarks made by slum children which have been overheard. Marjorie Bowen, in a long introduction, has much of interest to say about slum children. Foreword by Walter de la Mare. White cloth spine, grey paper boards, onlay of titles. 11.5 x 9".
A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. Two small bumps to top edge and nick to bottom edges of covers. Endpapers browned. Light browning to page edges and a little foxing to text block. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn, creased and torn with some loss from ends of spine and folds. Grubby, spine and folds browned. Some tape repairs on verso.
