Very good condition. Brown cloth, black titles and vignette. 12 colour plates. Numerous b/w text illustrations.
Spine and corners bumped. Spine faded and edges of rear cover also faded. A few small/light marks to covers. Two colour Attwell illustrations which we believe were cut out of the original dustwrapper (no longer present) have been stuck to the front endpapers. Inscription in ink to half title-page. Pages 125-128 (2 leaves) have been over trimmed in the binding process making the pages smaller than all others (no loss of text, just smaller margins). Evidence of some light colouring to a few of the b/w illustrations. A few light margin marks and some light page browning else contents clean.
