Very good condition. A book in which all the letters of the alphabet stand up in life-like form when the pages open. Dark blue cloth spine. Blue pictorial boards. Orange pictorial endpapers. Colour illustrations throughout.
Spine bumped and a little worn. Corners bumped and rubbed. A little scuffing to cover edges. Inscription in in to verso of front endpaper. British patent pending stamp to bottom of 1st page. Small repair to letter 'D' pop-up otherwise pop-ups are in very good working order. A little foxing and a small white mark to the blue margin of last alphabet page otherwise contents are clean.
