Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. 80 colour plates. Preface by William Sinclair and introductory note by George Adam Smith. Black cloth with elaborate gilt decoration to front cover and spine.
Spine and corners bumped. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing and some fingering to contents. One plate has been re-inserted and has slightly ragged/grubby edges (affects margin only, not actual picture). Dustwrapper is edge chipped with loss and grubby, some tape repairs on verso.
