Good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Entering the forbidden territory of the Cotswold village of Astercote which was wiped out in the 14th century by the Black Death, Mair and her brother Peter find themselves caught up in an atmosphere of medieval superstition. Blue boards, gilt title to spine. B/w text illustrations. 156 pages.
Ex-lib with label on front pastedown. Spine bumped. Tapemarks to rear cover, front pastedown and rear endpapers with some tape residue on the rear endpaper. Pictorial wrapper has light dampstains to verso and flaps and has a small nick at base of spine. Contents clean.
