Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. The focus of this book is on the central direction of the American War of Independence, rather than on a particular theatre, and the author has explored the relationship between the various theatres of war and the formation of war-policy. Includes an examination of the Rockingham and Shelburne Ministries. Orange cloth boards, blue title label with gilt title to spine.

Small stain to front board. Browning to text block. This copy was a review copy and includes the review notes loosely inserted. Orange pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn.
